I have placed a 8"-10" Garden Variety Pleco in my pond over the past couple of weeks...yes it has been cold, but I have placed a cover & heater overnight & days like today. It seems to ok & has done it's duty with Algae growth. You can see the tracks it has left behind. Should be huge by the end of summer.
